The 2025 Pollerhof Grüner Veltliner comes in the winery's classic 1-liter bottle from Erwin Poller's estate in Röschitz, in the Weinviertel region of northeast Austria. The Poller family has farmed and made wine here for over 300 years, since Erwin's grandfather Johann Poller began in 1920. The grüner veltliner grapes are certified organic, grown in a mix of soils dominated by loess over chalk and granite, and the wine itself is vegan. Grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, and the wine is vinified in stainless steel using Erwin's own native yeast culture. The result is a classic, lean, and peppery Grüner Veltliner with real minerality and complexity — a wine that reflects generations of careful family farming and organic, vegan production.
