Made by the Reverdy family, who have farmed in the village of Verdigny in Sancerre since as far back as the 1600s — one of several Reverdy branches in the appellation, but widely regarded as the standard-bearer among them. Hippolyte was the first generation to bottle under the family's own name, and the estate is now run by his granddaughter Julie Guiard, the fourth generation to work these vines, farming 14 hectares with the same steady, hands-on approach the family has always relied on. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes from Verdigny's Kimmeridgian limestone and silex soils — the same chalky, Jurassic-era formation found in Chablis — and is fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel, with no oak, to keep the wine's clarity and mineral drive front and center. The 2025 vintage came from a cooler, well-balanced growing season, giving the wine real lift and energy. Expect grapefruit zest, crushed stone, and white flowers on the nose, with lime, green pear, and a chalky edge on the palate — bright, focused Sancerre built for oysters, shellfish, or a wedge of Crottin de Chavignol.

Domenico and his team are fantastic. I’m a chef and I often get my supplies from The Cheese Store — unique products, carefully selected, from top Italian and French cheeses to excellent local ones.
Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
