Morey-Coffinet Bourgogne Cote-d-Or Pinot Noir 2024 (750ml)
Made by Thibault Morey at Domaine Morey-Coffinet, a respected Chassagne-Montrachet estate formed in 1978 through the union of two major Burgundy winemaking families, the Moreys and the Coffinets. The domaine farms 8.5 hectares organically and biodynamically, with roughly 30% of the estate planted to Pinot Noir alongside its more prominent Chardonnay holdings. This Bourgogne Côte d'Or bottling draws on young-vine and declassified parcels across the estate's red holdings, farmed with the same meticulous, low-intervention approach Thibault applies to his grand and premier cru sites. The result is pure, energetic Pinot Noir — red fruit and fine tannin with real Burgundian character — offering an accessible entry point into a domaine best known for its whites.
