Sourced from four different parcels across Puligny-Montrachet and neighboring Blagny, this village-level bottling draws on old vines averaging more than 50 years — some of the domaine's finest, most consistent holdings, kept for their own bottling rather than sold off to négociants like Joseph Drouhin. It's vinified in steel and aged in a mix of older and new oak, with minimal bâtonnage and none after malolactic fermentation, keeping the wine precise rather than heavy-handed. 2024 was a favorable year for the whites at this estate — early, well-timed treatment kept mildew pressure in check, flowering was slow but successful, and the fruit came in during a clean, dry stretch in mid-September with generous yields for the vintage. The result is textbook Puligny: chiseled minerality and real clarity, with a creamy mid-palate that never turns heavy — powerful, precise Chardonnay built on decades of the same meticulous, traditional winemaking the domaine is known for.
