Olio Verde is produced by Gianfranco Becchina, in Sicily, Italy. It is made from 100% estate-grown Nocellara del Belice olives (also called “Castelvetrano” olives) on his estate in southwestern Sicily. The olives are harvested early (in early October when they’re still green) which limits yield but elevates quality. The oil is described as having a vibrant green/yellow-green color (“verde” means green). It's flavor profile is described as fruity, fresh grass / green, notes of tomato, nutty and peppery undertones.

Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
