Mini Dolce Lemon Ricotta is a fresh cow's milk ricotta from Italy, brightened with lemon and portioned into a 200g tub built for a single occasion. It's the sweeter, dessert-leaning side of ricotta, dolce in name and in character.
The texture is cloud-light and spoonable, curds so delicate they break under the softest press of a spoon. The paste reads as sweet cream and warm milk on the front of the palate, then a clean lemon lift comes through the middle, more zest than juice, more perfume than bite. There is no rind and no aging to complicate things, just the fresh whey cheese in its purest form with a citrus accent worked into the curd.
That brightness is the whole point. A fresh ricotta this lively wants to be used young, spread thick on toast, spooned over berries, folded into a dessert. In its sweet spot right now.
Soft, spoonable, and cloud-light — the curds break under the slightest pressure into a delicate, milky fluff.
Gentle and bright: fresh cream on the front of the palate, a clean lemon lift through the middle, sweet finish.
Clean, quick fade — the citrus lingers just long enough to leave the palate refreshed rather than heavy.
Very milky, right at the heart of what fresh ricotta does best — sweet cream and warm-milk notes carry the whole cheese.
No nutty character here; the cheese is too young and too fresh to have developed browned or brothy notes.
No earth or funk — this is a bright, clean fresh cheese with no rind activity to pull it in that direction.
No pepper, no piquancy; the only bite comes from the lemon's soft acidity, not heat.
None rind
No rind — ricotta is unaged and served straight from its curd form.
Ricotta stands on its own, but the right partners turn a wedge into a moment. Regional pairings first — they were built for each other.

Bright, lightly sweet, or lightly sparkling drinks harmonize with the lemon lift and cut through the fresh cream without overpowering the delicate paste.

Sweet, floral, and gently acidic accents lean into the lemon and let the fresh cream shine, either on toast or spooned over fruit.

Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
