Top Italian and French cheeses, carefully selected
Domenico and his team are fantastic. I’m a chef and I often get my supplies from The Cheese Store — unique products, carefully selected, from top Italian and French cheeses to excellent local ones.
Mas de Valériole's "Vé" Rosé is a blend of about 70% Caladoc (a Grenache-Malbec crossing), 15% Merlot, and 15% Marselan (a Grenache-Cabernet Sauvignon crossing), grown on sandy, loamy soils just south of Arles in the Camargue. The estate has been certified organic since 2006, and a steady Mediterranean wind through the vineyards helps keep things naturally low-intervention and low in alcohol. Grapes are picked at night to preserve freshness, then pressed directly and given only a brief stint in stainless steel before bottling — no oak, no fuss. The name "Vé" is a local Provençal exclamation, roughly "look at that!" — fitting for a wine built to overdeliver at its price. In the glass it's bright and saline, with raspberry and ripe citrus flavors, crisp acidity, and a finish that runs longer than you'd expect from a wine this unassuming.

Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
