Top Italian and French cheeses, carefully selected
Domenico and his team are fantastic. I’m a chef and I often get my supplies from The Cheese Store — unique products, carefully selected, from top Italian and French cheeses to excellent local ones.

Golfera has made salumi in Lavezzola, an old village in the Romagna countryside of Emilia-Romagna, since its factory opened there in 1967, and the Zavaglia family has run the company since 1997. Gardenia is Golfera's prosciutto cotto, an Italian cooked ham made to the house's own recipe. Select pork legs are massaged by hand, seasoned with garlic, ginger, juniper and black pepper, tied by hand and slow-cooked in a steam bath. Cooking it slowly in steam keeps the meat's own moisture, and Golfera adds no extra water to bulk up the weight. The meat comes out tender and even all the way through. The flavor is delicate and gently spiced, with a quiet natural sweetness from the pork.

Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
Hand-cut to order the day it ships.
