Di Sipio's Terre d'Abruzzo Pecorino comes from the family's vineyards around Ripa Teatina, in the Chieti hills of central Abruzzo, where clay and limestone soils and cooling mountain breezes give the Pecorino grape its signature lift. The winery is run by father and son, and their winemaking team draws on generations of hands-on experience with Abruzzo's native varieties. Pecorino itself is an old grape, once nearly lost to history, that takes its name from the sheep once herded through these hillside vineyards. Made with care to preserve its natural aromatics and bright acidity, this 2024 bottling shows crisp citrus, orchard fruit, and a touch of herbal minerality — a fresh, food-friendly expression rooted in Abruzzese tradition.
