Di Sipio's Montepulciano d'Abruzzo comes from the family's estate around Ripa Teatina, in the Chieti hills of central Abruzzo, where clay and limestone soils and a mix of Adriatic warmth and mountain air suit the variety well. The winery is a father-and-son effort, built on the land where the elder Di Sipio once worked as a laborer before it became the heart of the family's own vineyards. Montepulciano is Abruzzo's signature red grape, prized for deep color and generous dark-fruit character, and this 2022 bottling reflects that heritage — soft tannins, ripe berry and spice notes, and a rounded, easy-drinking style true to its native soil.
