Made by the legendary Bruno Giacosa estate in Neive, founded on Bruno's third-generation family winemaking roots and now carried forward by his daughter Bruna. In the early 1970s, Arneis was an indigenous variety nearly lost to Piedmont's obsession with red wine — Giacosa, alongside Alfredo Currado of Vietti, is largely responsible for rediscovering and championing the grape, and Arneis has since grown to represent around half of the estate's total production, sourced from longtime grower relationships in Roero's poor, sandy soils and cooler climate. This bottling comes from select vineyards across Vezza d'Alba, Monteu Roero, Santo Stefano Roero, Canale, and Montà d'Alba, with vines averaging over 20 years old. The result is straw yellow with green reflections, showing an intense bouquet of acacia flower, peach, and lemon — a fresh, dry white with real aromatic lift, and one of Piedmont's most compelling arguments for the grape.
Real reviews from The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills Google Business Profile. Curated by Dom and his team since 1967.
Domenico and his team are fantastic. I’m a chef and I often get my supplies from The Cheese Store — unique products, carefully selected, from top Italian and French cheeses to excellent local ones.
Absolutely loved the cheese store! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Lena helped us — she was very knowledgeable on all the cheeses: where they came from, what the region is like, what they are known for. It was like wine tasting for cheese.
Ordered several cheeses from them and the wrong items were delivered. Contacted the store and they recognized the error and immediately sent the correct order the next day without any fuss. Really appreciate the promptness and professionalism.
