Amarelli has made licorice in Calabria since 1731. The family still selects the region's roots for a production chain that starts with the Calabrian root itself. Rombetti belong to their classic line of pure licorice. They are small, hard diamonds of licorice (rombi is Italian for diamonds) flavored with natural anise. The licorice is black, glossy and intense, and the anise brings a fragrant, lasting finish. They come in Amarelli's 20 g Blue Sky tin, a small metal tin with a retro design that reproduces an old piece kept in the Amarelli archives. They are gluten free and lactose free.
