L'Ami Du Chambertin (250g)

L'Ami du Chambertin (Friend of Chambertin) is a pungent, aromatic French soft cow's milk cheese from Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, similar to Époisses, known for its sticky, orange rind washed in Marc de Bourgogne brandy and its creamy, sometimes gooey interior with strong, meaty, salty, and sweet flavors, traditionally paired with local red Burgundy wines.  Serve it at room temperature with crusty bread, charcuterie, or mild chutneys.  Pairs great with red Burgundy wines like Gevrey-Chambertin, or full-bodied Chardonnay.
