Oro de Canava Olive Oil (500ml)

Oro de Cánava is produced in the Jaén province of Andalusia, Spain, made exclusively from early-harvest Picual olives, selected at their optimal point to maximize their properties.  Sourced from olive groves in the Sierra Mágina region, a protected nature reserve with a designated Denomination of Origin (PDO), guaranteeing its authenticity and quality. The high altitude (sometimes exceeding 1000m) and microclimate contribute to the oil's unique characteristics.  The oil is cold-pressed and extracted using a combination of traditional care and strict quality control measures.  It is known for its intense fruity aroma of green olives, with a complex blend of green and ripe notes, often described as mint, tomato plant, and banana peel, with nuances of almond, fig, and apple. On the palate, it is clean and fragrant, with a harmonious balance of a fine bitterness and a progressive spiciness.
