Fagioli Borlotti Bio refers to organic borlotti beans, which are a type of large, speckled bean that is a staple in Mediterranean and Italian cuisine and are known for their buttery texture and nutty, slightly sweet flavor, and are rich in fiber, protein, and minerals.  They are incredibly versatile and can be used in a wide variety of dishes, such as soups (like the classic minestrone) pasta dishes (pasta e fagioli), salads, and stews.

Dried Borlotti beans should be soaked overnight (about 10–12 hours) before cooking to reduce cooking time and improve digestibility.  After soaking, they should be simmered in fresh water for approximately 60–70 minutes, or until tender.
