Cornichons Extra Fin (340g)

Cornichons Extra Fin (French for "extra fine gherkins") are a specific grade of traditional French pickles. The term "extra fin" refers to their size—they are the smallest and most premium variety of cornichons available, harvested when the gherkin cucumbers are very young and petite.  Due to their youth and size, they have a signature firm, very crisp, and crunchy texture, which is a highly valued characteristic.  They possess a sharp, tart, and tangy flavor, often less sweet than other types of pickles. The pickling brine typically includes vinegar, salt, and various herbs and spices like tarragon, mustard seeds, and pearl onions, which contribute to their distinctive taste.
