Its best-known holding is in the grand cru Le Musigny. Just below it lies Les Amoureuses, a premier cru often compared to the grand crus around it. De Vogüé farms a parcel of about 0.6 hectares there, planted mostly in 1974 with some vines from 1964, in pale, light-textured soils mixed with limestone. The grapes are destemmed and given a cool soak before fermentation, and the wine is aged in barrel with about 30% new oak. The 2006 growing season had a lot of swings. Spring was cool and wet, July was very hot and dry, and a hailstorm passed through Chambolle late that month. August was cooler and damp, and the harvest came under warm September weather with scattered showers, so careful sorting in the vineyard mattered. The Côte de Nuits came through better than the south, and its reds are known for being open and fruit-forward rather than as powerful as the 2005s.
